I am not too sure if you have noticed this in the latest version of Google Chrome, but I only really noticed it today, so I thought I'd share my find! If you have the latest Google Chrome, go to your settings, by clicking on the "wrench" or "spanner", whatever you want to call it! Then select Options. You will see a Title further down the page called "Search". Make sure that you select "Enable Instant for faster searching and browsing. Omnibox input may be logged". Now that you have done that, exit your "Options" and head back to your browser's open tab.

What you will notice now is that if you start to type a URL or a search phrase, the results will appear instantly! WOW, yeah...I know! That's not the best part. Try typing in a url, like google.com, you will notice that the page opens before you have even hit enter! Nice hey! K, that's it for now! Have fun with that one!
