Google tries to get a bullseye with Dart

Dart is the new web based programming language from Google. Dart is an object-oriented programming language which Google is pushing as coolest thing that's hit the web. Google sees Dart as a language that could become the standard and replace Javascript (due to its inherent flaws).

Java and C++ programmers will be familiar with the syntax that Dart uses so it can be learnt quite fast. The Dart language is a flexible and dynamic programming language. Developers will be able to crest powerful apps for clients as well as simple scripts for the web.

Will developers take to Dart as quickly as Google say or will this language fizzle out. With Node.js gaining ground as a tool for building fast dynamic applications, will this new language stand a chance.

You can play around on Google's Dartboard. A web app that allows you to test and run Dart code right in the browser. No browser supports the Dart language yet but Chrome will surely support this very soon.

Google say they will develop some awesome apps with Dart to further showcase and support what the language can do and why it should become a standard for building powerful web applications.
