A “single ecosystem” for PC’s, phones, tablets and TV? Microsoft is set to provide “coherence and consistency” across all of these different devices. It is believed that Microsoft is planning to harmonise Windows for PC’s and Windows Phone, as well as the Xbox operating system within the next 4 years. It is also rumoured that Microsoft may very well release a new brand name at the same time? Time will tell how these different platforms will be tied together. Watch this space.
