Could Apple’s next generation smartphone, iPhone 5 be released in just a month or two’s time? Rumour has it that it may very well be released before the originally speculated September / early October launch date. Due to an increasing demand, this new device may very well see Apple double their marketshare, which is currently in the hands of their competition - Android OS mobile devices.

Apple is said to be releasing a third version of the iPad later this year, possibly in November, as reported by China Times (via MacRumours). Reports have suggested that this new iPad will have a retina display and may very well be released as iPad 2 Plus or iPad 2 HD. Also on the cards for release is the new iPhone 5 which is reported to be launched during the second week of September this year.

A thinner, lighter and much improved eight megapixel camera iPhone is set to be launched soon. Apple Inc is said to be ordering key components for the expected smartphone launch at the end of September 2011.
