Yahoo Site Explorer, is due to shut down later this year following a decline in sitemap submissions and an interest in webmaster tool interface. The service, once well respected, has become somewhat redundant since Yahoo began migrating their services to Microsoft, who function in much the same territory, both as a source for organic results on the web.
